But, after seeing my fuel gauge, and then being parked for a few minutes, the gas smell was overwhelming.
It was faint I think because I always have my sunroof and windows open, and I actually thought maybe I stepped in gas at gas station. And then I realized I was smelling a gas odor. Now the real problem: I filled up at the gas station last night, ran a couple of errands, & by the time I got home I noticed my fuel gauge had dropped between 3/4 & 1/2 tank. I'm just wondering if someone could give me kind of a brief description of what actually is needed and should be done to do this repair.
My mechanic tried to explain to me why the fuel pump needed to be replaced and then he said I have two s all foreign to me. I just had the fuel pump replaced in my 2005 C230 Kompressor and it actually is running so much better.
